Leighton is an immensely experienced, award-winning landscape architect. Before joining Exterior Architecture as Director and co-owner in 2012, his career covered the globe working with leading practices on a number of seminal landscape projects. His expertise covers the breadth of the landscape profession from large scale masterplanning projects to ground-up regeneration and community-led schemes.

A talented designer and experienced practice director, Leighton has particular expertise in conception, development and implementation of complex landscape schemes. He is an excellent communicator and consistently delivers responsive and meaningful design solutions that draw inspiration from places and interweave the dynamics of human life into inspirational landscape settings.
