José Luís Krug is an Associate at Space Syntax, where he has worked since 2017 following an internship during his MSc at the Bauhaus University Weimar. He has contributed to projects ranging from cultural building assessments to large-scale spatial analysis and masterplanning in the UK and internationally. José Luís studied architecture at Escola Superior Artística do Porto (ESAP) and earned an MSc in European Urban Studies from Bauhaus University, where he was named best student of the year. His research focuses on the relationship between urban form, typology, and the evolution of cities. He is a registered architect with the Association of Portuguese Architects.
