Clarion is the largest Housing Association in the country and the Special Projects team are responsible for a number of small sites. We have assembled a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a detailed planning application for 100% affordable housing in Surrey, in order to drive social and environmental innovation and design quality.
The intention is to drive new innovations with holistic thinking creating social and environmental value, which can then be applied to larger scale projects. Encouraging active travel and targeting zero carbon will make this an exemplary affordable housing project, designed to create a sense of community with a strong character and identity.
Our team includes Aymara Lamche Brennan and Chris Pask of Charlton Brown together with Gary Young of Place 54 Architects leading on urban design and architecture. Between them they have designed true zero carbon homes at NW Bicester and flatpack homes in Chiswick, winning a number of awards along the way.
Phil Jones Associates are playing a number of important roles. Wayland Pope is Project Manager and his experience as Development Director for Berkeley Group and Crest Nicholson are invaluable. Jerry Musgrave is leading on transport planning, ground contamination and drainage.
Our team also includes Samantha Paul from Spacehub (landscape architecture), Caroline Blowers from Equals (cost planning), Grant Leggett from Boyer (planning) and Nathan Millar from Elementa (MEP)
